Pankh.AI is looking for a Backend Engineer to build scalable APIs and microservices with Node.js.
What you'll do
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs serving millions of requests
- Build microservices architecture with proper service boundaries
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies with Redis
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for production services
- Collaborate with frontend engineers on API contracts and data models
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, query optimization, and database design
- Experience with Docker, message queues (Redis/RabbitMQ), and REST APIs
- Understanding of security best practices and authentication protocols
Nice to have
- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
