What you'll do
- Define the technical vision and architecture for all backend systems
- Lead the design of event-driven, distributed systems at scale
- Establish company-wide engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve platform reliability
- Drive cross-team architectural initiatives and manage technical debt
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of backend engineering with 3+ years in architecture roles
- Expert-level understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Experience designing systems handling millions of daily active users
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence without authority
Nice to have
- Experience building AI/ML platform infrastructure
- Published work on system design or distributed computing
